Wexford winner for trainer Matthew Smith
Trainer Matthew Smith sent out his second winner of the week when Wat Ua Doin made the running in the opening mares' maiden hurdle at Wexford.
Dunshaughlin jockey Keith Donoghue was the man for the job and duly got the five-year-old past the post a comfortable 15 lengthts clear of the opposition.
Smith, who has recently move from Kilmessan to a training base near Trim, was also on the mark at Clonmel on Thursday when Donoghue partnered Punters Poet to victory in a handicap hurdle.
Wat Ua Doin was having a first run for the trainer and the winning jockey commented post-race to irishracing.com - "I ride a lot of work for Matthew and she had been working well, so we fancied her today."
