Robbie Power hoists Meath flag at Punchestown Festival

Robbie Power got the Meath flag flying on the second day of the end-of-season Punchestown Festival.

Power partnered the Jessica Harrington-trained Lifetime Ambition to victory in the Louis Fitzgerald Hurdle to make two-in-a-row on the six-year-old which won a maiden hurdle at Limerick last month.

Lifetime Ambition forged clear approaching the last hurdle in the two-and-a-half-mile contest to win by all of 12 lengths.

The winner also took Power's tally to 45 for the season.
