Young athletes back on track at Navan AC
Back on track was the only statement that sufficed at Claremont Stadium in Navan last night.
The return to training window officially opened for under-age boys and girls and aprat from the usual field games it also applied to athletes from Navan Athletic Club who were able to get in a few laps around the track.
They may even have been feeling blue but that would have been more to do with the colour of the recently installed and upgraded facilities at the full spec eight-lane facility in the heart of Navan.
Club officials worked hard over the last few days to make sure all the requirements were satisfied and the training continues at the venue this week.
