Finnerty stars as Bohs win at Oriel Park

Skryne man James Finnerty was a key figure for Bohemians tonight as they inflicted more pain on an out-of-form Dundalk side at Oriel Park.

Bohs won 1-0 from a first-half penalty converted by Georgie Kelly in the 12th minute and the Dublin side defended well for the remainder for a merited first win of the season.

Ashbourne man Dawson Devoy also featured off the bench for Bohs in the second-half.

For Dundalk, the story just gets worse and this evening they had Peter Cherrie between the posts instead of Alessio Abibi who was signed to replace the retired Gary Rogers.

Josh Keeley from Dunboyne was on the bench again for St Pat's as they moved to the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 win against Derry City who had a player sent-off in the first-half.
