Gardai seize €200,000 worth of cannabis and arrest 3 men in Meath and Dublin

Three men have been arrested after a cannabis seizure worth €200,000 in Meath and Dublin.

A huge haul of cannabis was discovered during searches carried out at a number of locations as part of an intelligence led operation.

One man, aged 58 years, and two others, aged 45 years, were arrested and are currently being detained at Coolock, Raheny and Ballymun Garda Stations, pursuant to Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Gardaí attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Special Crime Task Force (SCTF) assisted by personnel assigned to the DMR participated in an intelligence led operation today.

All three men have had their periods of detention extended and remain in Garda custody at this time.
