Trainer Gordon Elliott got on the board at the second day of the 2021 Dublin Racing Festival when the impressive Quilixios maintained a four-race undefeated record landing the Grade 1 Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle.

This was third Irish success and jockey Jack Kennedy was on board the Elliott-trained winner.

Elliott trails champion trainer Willie Mullins, who dominated each day, by €350,000 in the race for the NH trainers' title and was delighted with the success.

“Big thanks to Tom Malone as he bought the horse for Cheveley Park and that’s their first Grade 1 winner since Mr Thompson passed away. He’s been a big supporter of the yard," stated Elliott.

"The Dublin Racing Festival was a great success once again, featuring top quality competitive racing which showcased the vast amount of talent in Irish Racing," commented Leopardstown CEO Tim Husbands

"I would like to express my gratitude for everyone who has been part of this weekend and our sponsors who continued their support during the current challenging times.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Dublin Racing Festival next year," he added.
