Woman arrested in connection with murder of couple last seen in Meath

Gardaí investigating the disappearance and murder of William Maughan and Anastasija (Anna) Varslavane in April, 2015 have made an arrest this morning, Saturday 30th January, 2021.

The woman (mid 30s) was arrested this morning and is currently detained under Section 30, Offences Against the State Act, 1939 at Ashbourne Garda station.

Willie, 34, and his partner, Ana, were last seen alive in Gormanston, Co Meath, on April, 14, 2015.
