Join in the 30-minute fitness workout with Lyndsey Barnwell

Are you ready to blow off those Christmas cobwebs, push aside the pressures of the pandemic and cast off the Covid chaos aside for a couple of hours each week?

With gyms closed and people restricted to their homes and 5k limit the Meath Chronicle is looking to do what it can to help keep people's spirits up and alleviate some of the the stress and anxiety everyone is feeling at the moment.

We've teamed up with the wonderful fitness instructor, Lyndsey Barnwell of LB Fitness in Navan, to host enjoyable weekly Zoom 30-minute classes aimed at every fitness level.

It'll be fun, inclusive and a great way to start the New Year and join a community of like-minded friends and neighbours.

"I have been a fitness instructor in Navan and Trim since 2014, specialising in fitness for pregnant women as well as mother and baby classes, says Lyndsey"

"LBFitness was winner of the Best in Pre and Post Natal Fitness category at the 2020 Irish Fitness Industry Awards"

"I'm delighted to team up with the Meath Chronicle to create a great class atmosphere, both in person and online, that not only creates a sweat but is enjoyable and manageable for all. To leave a class saying "I enjoyed that" as opposed to dreading the thoughts of it"

The fitness industry used to be seen as only people with 6 packs and lean muscle, but people of all ages, shapes and sizes make up the true fitness industry. It's a door you can open and see others who want to achieve the same thing in a different form. Everyone wants to make progress. Making people fit and strong should be the goal of every trainer.

"Eat well and train often and the rest will come. Consistency is key, looking and feeling better is just a side effect."
