Warm, dry day ahead and the weekend doesn't look too bad either

Met Eireann says a dull start will give way to a bright warm day.

Morning mist or fog patches will clear to leave a dry day with sunny spells with top temperatures ranging from 17 to 21 degrees in moderate east or northeast breezes.

It will be dry overnight with long clear spells and just a few pockets of mist or fog. Minimum temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light easterly breezes.

Friday looks to be similar, dry and mostly sunny day with any early fog patches clearing during the morning. Highest afternoon temperatures will range 16 to 19 degrees, coolest along coasts in moderate northeasterly breezes.

The outlook is for it to stay mostly dry and settled through the weekend but more changeable next week.
