Eye on the ball is Dandy

There was Navan success in the rain at Galway on Tuesday evening for the O'Rourke clan when the Shane O'Rourke-bred Dame Dandy got home in front in a juvenile fillies' maiden.

Trained by Jim Bolger and with the benefit of Kevin Manning for steering duties Dame Dandy was overdue a win after hitting the post in previous outings.

Dame Dandy could step up to Listed company this weekend at Leopardstown in the €100,000 Ballylinch Stud Irish EBF Ingabelle Stakes.

At Galway on Tuesday evening she was winning for the first time after finishing second in July and August at Naas and at the Ballybrit track.

Shane O'Rourke tweeted
