East Meath water mains repairs may see water outages today

Irish Water is working in partnership with Meath County Council to carry out repairs to a major trunkmain impacting customers in Kentstown, Ardcath, Clonalvey, Bellewstown, Carnes, Lunderstown, Cloughan, Davidstown, Fourknocks, Heathstown, Boolies, Gilliamstown, Scatternagh and surrounding areas. While works are ongoing customers in these locations may experience water low water pressure and/or outages for short periods today, Wednesday 22 July, until 6pm. It may take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.

Irish Water and Meath County Council understands the inconvenience caused when repair works occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential works and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Meath County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
