'Sharon's Grave' opens in Trim

Trim Drama Group's autumn production of John B Keane’s ‘Sharon’s Grave’, a powerful story about the struggle between the forces of good and evil, opened last night. Set in Ireland in times past along the rugged Atlantic coast, the play is a tale of family and land, love and hate, with the legend and mythology of Princess Sharon also part of the fascinating story.

The cast includes some new and familiar faces - Katie Crosby, Shane Fox, Eoin Kenny, Stephen O’Connor, Craig Regan, Patricia Hehir and Brendan Bagnall.
The play is directed by Kevin Shelly, who has previously directed a number of plays for Trim Drama Group including ‘The Field’, ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, ‘The Plough and The Stars’, ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’ and ‘The Weir’.
The production will be staged in Scoil Mhuire, Trim, until Saturday 2nd November, and tickets can be booked at James Allen Hair Design Trim (046) 943 7500 or on the door. This production is not suitable for Under 16s.
