Walterstown GAA under-age committee kept busy

Walterstown GAA club has finalised a new club juvenile committee that comprises Ruth Chambers, Janice McKenna, Sarah Ross, Gareth Dempsey and Owen Sullivan.

The under-age section of the club had a busy week and schedules for all the different age groups has been confirmed.

From this weekend there will be a boot box in the clubhouse where parents can put football boots their children have grown out of while parents in search of replacement boots can also avail of the facility. However, boots should be clean before being placed in the box.

From this Saturday refreshments will be served in the hall during under-age training from 10.30am to 11.30am, free to parents of the children who are participating.

As part of the club's policy on conservation parents are encouraged to bring their own reusable cup.

Parents are also welcome to volunteer for some tea and coffee-making duties and should contact Ruth Chambers at (087) 2378741 for more details.
