Keane wins the last at Dundalk

Champion jockey Colin Keane added another winner to his early season tally at Dundalk tonight.

The Trim jockey was on board the Noel Meade-trained Joey Sasa in the concluding 12-furlong maiden.

Running in a flat race for the first time, Joey Sasa ran in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham last year, but relished the going at Dundalk tonight to win.

The nine-year-old was the oldest runner in the race and is owned by Navan businessman Eamonn Duignan,

Galway could be a longer-term target this year, but before that Punchestown will be considered. Good ground will be a factor in the next outing.
