Lotto holiday jackpot of €5 million

Irish Lotto players will be hoping for a rub of the green this weekend as the St. Patrick’s Day jackpot soars to a mega €5 million.
So far in 2018 there have been two Lotto jackpot winners who have scooped over €11.5 million in prizes. Officials are hoping that players have the luck of the Irish and that there will be a third jackpot winner tomorrow (Saturday).
The Jackpot has not been won since February 21st when a small syndicate of friends scooped €7.1 million playing Lotto online.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “There is no better way to celebrate our National holiday than by playing Lotto and winning a big pot of gold.  We are expecting huge interest with the jackpot rolling and with people on a long weekend. We are advising our players to play early. They can buy their tickets in-store, online at www.lottery.ie or through the National Lottery App.”
Nearly 30 cent in every euro spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes all over Ireland in the areas of sport, health, youth, arts, heritage, culture and the Irish language. Last year alone more than €225 million was raised.
