Senior Moments

Today's TV Picks! Wednesday December 27th

Specials

Senior Moments (RTE 1, 8.30pm)
Senior Moments is a cross-generational comedy series where the senior members of our society display their charm, warmth and wit - both out on the street with hidden cameras pranking unsuspecting young folk, and in the comfort of their own homes where they regale us with more jokes, anecdotes and razor sharp wisdom.

Alan Partridge: Why, When, Where & How (BBC 2, 9pm)
It has been a quarter of a century since a little-known sports reporter was given his own radio chat show by the BBC. Two radio series, five TV series, four specials, two books and one movie later, Alan Partridge has an unrivalled place in the comedy pantheon. To celebrate Alan’s return to the BBC in 2018, this documentary will look back at his journey from broadcaster caricature to the award-winning study of complexity and pathos that he has become.

Miranda Does Christmas (CH4, 9pm)
Miranda Hart shows us how to make Christmas just as much fun as it used to be by carol singing and spreading Christmas joy. Guests include David Tennant, Sam Smith and Prue Leith.
