Friday night round up - two more for Gordon Elliott

Gordon Elliott's bid for the NH trainers's title continued tonight at Kilbeggan where he added two more winners to his tally for the season.

Isabella Liberty gave the Summerhill man a double in the mares beginners chase after Fridaynightlights won again on a quick re-appearance.

Elliott added some €21,000 in win and place money while Willie Mullins only added €400 with the final week of the race for the title taking place next week at Punchestown.


There was another Meath winner when Matthew Smith from Kilmessan was on the mark with recent Tramore winner Prince Garyantle.

DUNDALK

Ger Lyons and Colin Keane were in double form at Dundalk, but the Trim jockey went on to record a treble with Rivellino for Ado McGuinness in a claiming race.

Meath golfer Thomas Mulligan continued at the Junior Invitational earlier today at Sage Valley but he lost more ground on the leaders with an 81 on the 72 par course to go 12 over for two rounds with the last day's play tomorrow.
