City slicker lands Ebor for Tony Martin

Meath trainer Tony Martin had the first and third in the Ebor Handicap at York today with Heartbreak City, which is owned by a syndicate of New York-based Irishmen, winning and the John Breslin-owned Quick Jack in third place.

Martin was winning the historic contest for the first time.

Heartbreak City was ridden superbly by Adam McNamara

The trainer may have placed a hat upon the winner's head in joyous and hilarious post-race celebrations at York - which made for great pictures - but you have to take your hat off to Tony's training skills.
