Tormey returns as Reilly serves suspension

Graham Reilly will serve a suspension arising out of his black card dismissal against Tyrone and he will miss the NFL Div 2 clash with Derry in Owenbeg tomorrow (Sunday), 2pm.
Reilly picked up two yellow cards in the draw with Galway in Salthill and that dismissal coupled with the black card against Tyrone has earned him a suspension and forced manager Mick O’Dowd into making one change to his side for the trip to derry.
With Reilly forced out it creates an opportunity for Andy Tormey to stake a claim in the starting line-up at full-forward. The Donaghmore/Ashbourne man hasn’t started since his red card again Fermanagh and after taking a week off for compassionate reasons he is now back in contention having impressed for his club in recent games in the number 14 jersey.
That enfiorced switch is the only change as O’Dowd keeps faith with the majority of the side that lost out to Tyrone in a brave, but ultimately fruitless performance in Navan two weeks ago.
A rare win for Meath in Derry will keep destiny in their own hands. However a loss in Owenbeg will mean Meath must travel to Portlaoise on Sunday 10th April and secure a win while hoping other results go their way.
