Brian Smyth funeral on Monday

Funeral arrangements have been published for Brian Smyth, who died at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, on Wednesday.

He is reposing at home from 1pm until 9pm on Saturday and from 11am until 4pm on Sunday, with removal to Saint's Peter and Paul Church, Dunboyne arriving at 6pm. Funeral on Monday after 11am Requiem Mass to Batterstown Cemetery.

Husband of the late Mairead, and father of Dympna, Attracta and the late Bernard, he is survived by his daughters, daughter-in-law Carol, sons-in-law Tony and Des, grandchildren David, Laura, Niall, Donal, Aoife, Stephen and Orla, great-grandchildren Ben and Chloe, brothers Noel and Tom, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
