Christmas Memories at Solstice

Spiders Ankles Productions are bringing their new show ‘Christmas Memories’ to Solstice Arts Centre on Tuesday 8th December for one night only.

Storytelling is the oldest form of entertainment; it has been called the ‘theatre of the hearthstone’. Anthony O’Boyle from Dunshaughlin returns to that great tradition, the art of storytelling with a new show, a nostalgic look back at Christmas in a small rural village in the west of Ireland. Here is an encapsulation of an era that has passed only recently.

Comedy sparkles and illuminates a collection of stories that are rich in humour and pathos. Vocalists Ailbhe Travers from Dunboyne and Navan native Patricia Ronayne contribute to make this a unique show with the occasional song while Anthony narrates a homely heart-warming collection of tales. This is Spiders Ankles first performance in Solstice Arts Centre so Navan audiences will get an opportunity to enjoy this unique show that is suitable for all ages. Come along and enjoy a trip down memory lane! Tickets from €12 available online www.solsticeartscentre.ie or call box office 046 9092300
