Ladies night for Meath GAA

St Ultan's are in the running to be named Team of the Year at the Meath Ladies GFA awards which will be held in the Newgrange Hotel, Navan on Saturday 21st November, 8pm.

The Bohermeen/Martry club were crowned Meath Ladies SFC champions for only the second time following their thrilling replay victory over Oldcastle in September and players Shauna Bennet, who won player-of-the-match in the replay, and Aisling Marley have also been sortliested for the Senior Championship Player-of-the-Year prize.

There are five nominees for each of the club championships. Dee Rangers, who are also in the running for Club of the Year following their IFC success over st Michael's, have two contenders for the Intermediate Club Player-of-the Year with captain Orlaith Duff and Becks Goodwin  in contention.

Meath and Leinster Club JFC champions champions Dunboyne can also stake a major claim for Club-of-the-Year honours, while Julie Kavanagh and Aoife Thompson are in the running for Junior Club Player-of-the-Year.
