Books of condolences opened

Two separate Books of Condolences have been opened at Meath County Council, County Hall, Navan for the 10 people who lost their lives in the fire in Carrickmines, Co Dublin and for Garda Anthony Golden, who was killed in Omeath on Sunday evening.
Meanwhile there has been an overwhelming response to the Book of Condolences which was opened at the Navan Travellers Workshop at the Fair green in Navan this week for the victims of the Carrickmines disaster,
The book will be open from 10am to 5pm each day until Friday.
Book of condolence are now also open at Navan Garda Station, Kells Garda Station and Kells People’s Resource Centre.
The tricolour is currently flying at half-mast at Navan Garda Station in memory of Garda Golden.
