Megan O'Neill.

Kildare singer making tracks in london

Following her feature on hit ABC Show Nashville, a recent slot at the O2 Arena London and a performance at JJ Abrams’ Oscar Wilde party, one of country music’s most exciting new prospects is now set to release her first EP on 1st May.

Originally from Kildare, Megan O’Neill is one of the most exciting new entrants to the world of country-pop music. A long-time musician and song-writer, she has been working hard to hone her craft since moving from Ireland to Nashville and then to her current base in London to further her career. She was signed for management earlier in 2014 by Irish management company Milestone Management and is now set to release her debut EP in May 2015.

2014 ended on a high when Megan’s song Don’t You was featured in the season finale of Nashville – an incredibly successful show produced jointly by Lionsgate / ABC which has been a huge ratings hit in the US. This year also started with a bang with Megan being invited to perform at the Bad Robot Studios of Hollywood producer JJ Abrams during Oscar Week in Santa Monica on February 19th. This event has become one of the key industry events in the Hollywood calendar and has led to a growing buzz being developed around her in the US. March saw Megan performing at the O2 Arena London alongside established country artists like Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert and Luke Bryan.

Megan's music is a fresh mix of modern country and pop, with a fusion of distinctly Irish elements making for a very unique sound. She has written with many notable Nashville writers such as Marc Beeson, Billy Austin & John Edwards and she returns to Music City as often as possible. But from her London base she is also working with more pop writers, and returns to LA in June for more writing sessions.

This five-track EP Coming Home was recorded and produced by long-time Kodaline collaborator Philip Magee.
