Dinosaurs may be extinct from the face of the planet, but they will be alive and well in Tayto Park this Summer!
A new exhibition is set to delight people of all ages with a unique and fun learning experience.
Visitors will be thrilled, terrified and intrigued as they discover more about the Mesozoic era and the ‘age of dinosaurs’ in a breath taking exhibition of giant dinosaur creations with thunderous sound effects.
This life-like animatronic dinosaur spectacular will feature the mighty tyrannosaurus rex, stegosaurus, apatosaurus, dilophosaurous, baryonyx and more.
Tayto Park opens it’s doors on Thursday, 26th March for it’s fifth season and in addition to the ‘Dinosaur’s Alive’ enclosure, 2015 will see the arrival of seven new heart-racing attractions.
Taking its cue from world-renowned theme parks, the ‘Air Race’ will set hearts pounding and eyes bulging from March onwards. The Tayto Park ‘Air Race’ is the perfect way for adrenaline junkies to ease their way into the park clocking up some pulse racing speeds.
There will also be the ‘Rotator’, an incredible high speed spinning sensation that is sure to set you back a step or two when attempting to keep a steady stride afterwards. With only four in existence worldwide, this is a one-of-a-kind theme park hotspot for Ireland and the UK. The thrills and spills for little ones continue with the ‘Sky Tower’, a 10 meter vertical climb that will have little ones feeling like they are on top of the world.
Other new attractions include a three carriage road train that will transport visitors from one end of the park to the other, asteam train track ride which will operate on a traditional track around Tayto Park and the only 5D cinema in Ireland, screening five and ten minute movies, depending on how much time you have to spare! There will also be a child friendly ‘Honey-Pot Roundabout’ for little ones enjoy in Tayto Park.
