Meath interest in irish tv london show tonight

The launch of the London Irish Film Festival, which is in its fifth year, will be broadcast on Irish TV’s ‘Out and About UK’ programme tonight (Wednesday) at 8.30pm.

London presenter Ian McDonnell caught up with County Meath harpist Seana Davey who has toured extensively throughout the world with many big names. In the programme Seana tells us about her work in London.

“The aim of the festival is to bring the best of independent Irish films to a London audience with screenings in cinemas all over London and Irish TV are delighted to be part of this process,” said London presenter Ian McDonnell.

Michael Flatley also features in the show when the crew attended the London Irish Art Exhibition. Irish TV met up with The Lord of the Dance creator at Central Hall in Westminster where he was one of the many Irish artists who were selected to take part in the exhibition. Stamullen artist Niall Leavy also exhibited in the show.

‘Out and About UK’ is repeated every Thursday at 10.30pm and Sunday at 11.30am.

Coming up on Irish TV this spring is Killarney restaurateur and TV chef Paul Treyvaud who is making a highly anticipated return in series two of ‘Cooking with Treyvaud’.

The channel is introducing original new programming every week, and each of the 32 counties has their own half-hour County Matters show once a week, produced by Irish TV's own nationwide production network.
