Joe duffy motors buys navan vw dealership

 

The expanding Dublin-based Joe Duffy Motor Group has purchased Commons Road Cars in Navan, the distributor of Volkswagen vehicles in County Meath.  

Having established the family business in 1991, Commons Road Cars owner Nancy Callaghan has decided to retire from the successful business, which has a large customer base and a loyal, long-serving team of employees. 

Under the acquisition agreement, which will see the Volkswagen Commons Road employees transfer to the Joe Duffy Group, the dealership will continue to operate under the same name as part of the Volkswagen dealer network at its location on the Commons Road.

Volkswagen Commons Road dealer principal Paul Duffy said: “We are pleased that the future interests of our customers and staff will be safeguarded under the new ownership and management.
