Kiltale claim mhc crown

Kiltale held on to claim their third successive MHC crown with a dogged 2-12 to 1-3 victory over determined Na Fianna at Pairc Tailteann today.
Two goals from Ross Ryan proved to be the decisive score as Kiltale built on their 0-9 to 0-5 interval lead. Na Fianna did cause the defending champions plenty of problems with outstanding scores from Peter and Mark Slevin, but despite Will Flynn’s late goal it was Kiltale who held on.
In the MHC B final curtain raiser Wolfe Tones hit 10 points in a 10 minute spell early in the second-half to turn a 0-5 to 1-5 interval deficit into a 0-17 to 1-6 win against Rathmolyon.
