Scubadiving club stage open swim

Alphadive, Meath’s principle scuba-diving club, are holding a ‘Try-a-Dive’ on Sunday 2nd November in Kells Swimming Pool, 2.0. Potential divers just have to turn up and they will be taken for a swim.
The Alphadive club’s instructors will show newcomers the gear used, how it works and bring them for a dive in the pool.
Later there will be a coffee break when people will discuss various aspects of the club such as the skills of diving, training, expense involved in participation and the opportunity to take part in a fantastic adventure sport.
Those taking part have to be over 18 with the course costing 10 euro.
“We hope that everyone will enjoy an exciting, informative morning,” said training officer Tommy Brennan.
Training starts in November and goes on until 2nd April, Good Friday when there will be a weekend of five dives in Malinbeg, Co. Donegal.
Pool sessions, lectures and open water training takes place over the winter and spring.
