Details of Le Cheile 2014 announced

Le Cheile 2014 is bringing back one of Oldcastle’s favourite venues this summer, with a huge line up of the very best of Irish, Scottish and American acts this August Bank Holiday.

This Summer will see the much loved Castle Cinema re-open its door to the public for the first time in 35 years. In its new guise as the CINEMA CLUB STAGE, it will host all this years’ Le Cheile 2014 main gigs. Recently renovated and with the finishing touches being applied, the refurbished venue will boasts bars, mezzanine, new dressing and changing rooms, stage, and toilets, and maintain some of the most striking features of its’ past. A brand new lighting and sound system will also be installed.

With a huge line up including Ryan Sheridan, The Riptide Movement, The Minutes, Big Generator, The Hot Sprockets, The Barley Mob, Travis Oaks, Altered Sky, Sal Vitro, along with over 60 more acts spread over 4 days and 3 stages, Oldcastle is the place to be on the August Bank Holiday.

The weekend will also see the town filled with on street activities for all ages and the hugely popular KIDSZONE will return with a new line up of amusements and surprises. There will be spectacular Fire Shows, bands on the quirky and cool Acoustic Garden Stage, along with Art exhibitions, performers, pop up shops and All Ages Gig. Le Cheile also has yet to announce its’ Friday night, which promises to be something new.
