Speaking about Bottler airing on TV3 in an animated format, Brendan Grace, said: “Of all my characters, Bottler is very close to my heart. There is a bit of Bottler in me, at least there was a bit of him in me as a child. He’s been around for decades now so it’s great to see him come to life in a special animation for TV3. Bottler has been hugely successful and I have always loved cartoons so I can really see him taking off.”

Michael Algar said: “Brendan and I have known each other for years, having worked together on commercials in the seventies. Reunited for Bottler, we shared reminiscences while progressing the countless aspects of the production. Keg Kartoonz is delighted to have played a major part in bringing Bottler to life. Let’s hope he will have many more adventures!”
