Costello wins South O'Hanlon race again

Star of the Sea athlete Colin Costello won the South O'Hanlon road race for the second year in-a-row tonight over the testing 5km Beauparc circuit in a time of 15 minutes and 16 seconds.

Once again the well-organised event attracted a large field of runners and Costello won from Stephen Kerr (Armagh) and Michael Traynor (Raheny).

Donore Harriers runner Sorcha Nic Dhomhnaill was the first lady hoem in 18m 19sec ahead of Denise Toner from Clones and Sinead Eacratt (St Michael's).

The evnt was chip-timed and all the times will be printed in next week's edition of the Meath Chronicle with photos from the event also.
