Keith Donegan challenging for honours
Meath teenager Keith Donegan is looking to continue his extremely impressive year to the UK Ginetta Junior Championship. The 16-year-old racer currently holds second place in the points total at the halfway stage of the season.
The Ginetta Juniors follow the popular British Touring Car Championship around the UK, sometimes racing in front of 40,000 spectators and a substantial live television audience.
The young Meath driver is understandably very content with his work in 2013 and is looking forward to the remainder of the season.
“My season so far has been great. I have had five podiums from the first 10 races and I’m quite happy with that considering it’s the most competitive junior championship in the UK and is televised live,” he commented.
The next race in the calendar is at Norfolk’s Snetterton track on the Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August where Donegan will hope to make up points on current runaway championship leader Harry Woodhead.
