Three 'Women's Heart' singers for CityNorth

'A Woman's Heart', a hugely popular compilation of 12 tracks performed by six female Irish artists, Eleanor McEvoy, Mary Black, Dolores Keane, Sharon Shannon, Frances Black, and Maura O'Connell was released  in July 1992 and sold over 750,000 copies, more than any other album in Irish chart history. In April 2012, a documentary entitled 'Our Woman's Hearts' was produced exploring how A Woman's Heart came about, why it became so popular, and the effect it has had on three generations of women.

Three of those ladies, Sharon Shannon, Frances Black and Mary Coughlan will be performing at CityNorth Hotel, Gormanston, on Friday 21st June – marking the celebration of

the Summer Solstice 2013. What better way tok the beginning of Summer, than to spend an evening listening to the melodic voices of Sharon Shannon, Frances Black & Mary Coughlan. And the ladies themselves are equally as excited,  a recent tweet from Frances Black said she was “really looking to performing with me two good mates Sharon n Mary on 21st June #dyingtoseeyas”
