Meath hurlers win again

Meath continued on their upward curve in the NHL Div 2B with a 2-17 to 1-11 win over London today at Trim. Two second-half goals in the space of a minute for Meath proved to be the turning point . There were many big performers for Meath, but Trim's James Toher at centre-back was by far the best. Meath were ahead by 0-7 to 1-3 at the interval and those second-half goals from Stephen Morris and Barry Slevin were crucial. Meath will host Mayo next Sunday in Navan while London will entertain Down in what is a must-win game for both.
