SMMS to stage Killian Donnelly's 'Cinderella'

'Cinderella' is this year's production from St Mary's Musical Society, Navan, with the lead role played by Megan Moneralwela in her first major role in the society. The Navan production is written by local West End star, Killian Donnelly, who cut his teeth with the society, and Prince Charming is played by Ultan O'Cinneide, with Ben Harte as Buttons. Cinderella's father, Baron HArdup, is played by David Quinn. The Ugly Sisters are played by Ronan Walsh, and Sean Carey, affectionately known as the fella from the telly. Eimear Donnelly plays Fairy Godmother. Deirdre O'Luanaigh puts the cast and chorus through their dancing paces, while Tina Price makes sure all the singing is up to scratch. Matt McGuirk has the job of jelling it all together. He has appeared in lots of pantos in the past, and this is his first time to direct. The show stages in the Solstice Theatre, Navan, from 13th to 15th December,at 8pm, and on 15th and 16th December at 3pm. It will also run from 3rd to 6th January.
