Delamere comes to Venue

Currently one of the biggest names on the Irish comedy scene, Neil Delamere is back on stage this autumn with his highly anticipated brand new show, DeleMere Mortal, which he brings to Ratoath on Thursday 6th December. In his eagerly awaited new show, Neil comes to the realisation that he has now lived in Dublin as long as he has lived in his family home in Offaly. But what exactly has Neil learned in the 16 years since he left home? He dabbles in a little witty self-reflection and good spirited fun with a trip down memory lane aided by original footage from 90's quiz show, Blackboard Jungle, when he captained his school team to victory. The home-grown comedy mastermind effortlessly mixes his distinct style of off-the-cuff audience banter with a selection of side-splitting tales. With several platinum selling DVDs under his belt instead, Delamere's profile has risen considerably over recent years, making him one of the best loved and recognised comedians across Irish television and airwaves. 2012 has been a very busy year for Neil with a sell-out tour, receiving an IFTA award for his documentary 'The Only Viking in the Village', the first instalment of a new satirical comedy series The 2nd Republic on RTE Radio One and performances at both the prestigious Cat Laughs Comedy Festival and The Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
