Rocks thrown from Navan bridge

A motorist and passsengers were lucky to escape serious injury when rocks were thrown from the railway bridge across the former N3 in Navan on Saturday evening. The motorist was driving into Navan in a light commercial vehicle when the incident took place at around 6.40pm on Saturday evening. The rocks hit the windscreen on the passenger side of the vehicle and the passengers were covered in shards of glass sustainibng minor cuts. The driver was able to stop the vehicle safely and the matter was reported to Navan Garda Station.
