On Friday 9th November, Meath based production company, RCA Media Productions Limited will present to cast, crew, friends and media, the international premier and the charity screening of RCA Media's TV series pilot production of 'On Witches Hill' which has just completed post production both here in Ireland and in LA. Shot on location in Bellewstown and north county Dublin, the TV pilot is an introduction to a nine part children's adventure TV series 'The Adventure Diaries' which is in pre-production in Ireland and is set to be pitched to the major children's channels domestically and internationally. The concept of the series, according to producer Stephen Gibson of RCA Media Productions is that it is a modern day 'Celtic Famous Five' with Irish characters, Irish stories and Irish adventures targeting the 'Tweenager Market'. The charity preview screening will be held in the Seamus Ennis Centre in the Naul, County Dublin on Friday and will be attended by the series producer Stephen Gibson of RCA Media Productions, the crew and of course the talented young cast with some surprises on the night being promised. All proceeds from the door will be donated to a local cancer charity. 'The Adventure Series' cast includes young Meath based talents including 12 year old actress Chloe Gibson as Erica (An Tain, Darkness Descends) and Nell Harding (12), as Ciara who both have just been cast in another film project called 'Dog eat Dog', starring alongside Eoin Mackin (Merlin) to be shot later this year in Dublin. The cast also includes young Bellewstown based actors Conor Whearty (13) as Finn and Rachel Barnes (13) as Emily. The pilot 'On Witches Hill', the first story in the series of ten, is based in a sleepy village in Ireland where four young kids have just finish up from school on their summer holidays. They all now go on their separate ways in September, new schools and possibly new friends, so will this be the last of their summer adventures together. This first adventure takes them to where they have never been allowed to go to before, 'The Hill of the Witches. Little did they know what lay ahead. Would they indeed see each other again? A ghostly, chilling teenage adventure.
