Sinead McNally

New single from Sinead McNally

Dundalk singer songwriter with Navan roots, Sinead McNally, releases her fifth single on Friday 19th October on the same day she launches her new website www.sineadmcnally.com and YouTube channel. Sinead's new single 'Let You Down' is the second single from her EP '10,000' which was released in August 2012. She says: "Let You Down is my second single from '10,000' which I've had a great response to so far. It's my fifth single in two years so it is a very different approach from most artists but I'm enjoying making music and the response I've gotten from people has been fantastic. The website has also finally come together so I now have somewhere to refer people to." The video for Let You Down was filmed in a ghost estate and this is the second time Sinead has made use of unfinished houses as her previous single Dance with Me was also filmed in a ghost estate. As part of the 10,000 concept, the Knockbridge native hoped to get 1,000 broadcast minutes which she has most certainly achieved. Since the middle of June, Sinead has had 1,141 minutes of airplay. On Saturday 20th October, Sinead will play at 4 u Goal Charity event in Dame Lane, Dublin. Special guests include RTE's Emma O'Driscoll and Royseven's Paul Walsh. Sinead's grandparents John and Ite O'Donovan, parents of her mother, Aine, lived at St Brigid's Villas in Navan, and her late grandfather was a linotype operator in the Meath Chronicle in the 1960s. He was very involved in the local musical society.
