County Meath, the home of Halloween, has launched Ireland's "most electrifying" Halloween Festival. The Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival takes place all around the county from 19th October to 5th November. Meath Tourism launched www.spiritsofmeath.ie, a new website devoted to the Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival on Friday last, 5th October. According to Cllr John V Farrelly, chairman, Meath Tourism: "Spirits of Meath Halloween festival is a very authentic festival based on the very fact that Halloween originated in County Meath. This festival brings you back to the roots of Halloween and delivers the real story about Halloween commencing at the Hill of Ward. The festival has huge international and domestic appeal and has a programme of events to suit all ages and tastes.
