O'Dowd ratified as Meath manager

Mick O'Dowd was, as expected, ratified as Meath senior football manager at last night's Co Board meeting. This will be Meath's sixth manger in nine years. O'Dowd's backroom team of Sean Kelly and Trevor Giles were also ratified while Sean Barry was confirmed as the u-21 coach. Barry's selectors will be Pauric Lyons, Tom Hanley and Cormac Sullivan.
