Longwood GAA Club go on the run

Longwood GAA club will be staging their third annual 5km Road Race, Fun Run and Walk on Sunday, 21st October, 3.0. The event is organised by the GAA club and the local branch of St Vincent de Paul. The course is right handed and relatively flat. Registration is available on-line at www.runireland.com or on the day from 1.30 to 2.45 at the Longwood GAA clubhouse. Parking, changing facilities and showers are all available at the clubhouse. Medals will be presented as well as spot prizes for fancy dress. Refreshments and live music will take place in the clubhouse after the event. The event is chip timed and has various prize categories. Entry fee for runners is €12 online or €15 on race day. Walkers €10 and juveniles €5.
