Difficult first assignment for Ashbourne

Ashbourne will kick start their new season in the Leinster League Div 1B when they take on Monkstown away on Friday night, 8.0. The game is a daunting assisgnment for the Meath side as Monkstown are regarded as one of the favourites to land the title. The Milltown club will also be hoping to make in-roads in the Provincial Towns' Cup. Last season they were defeated in the sem-final of the competition.
