Foster and Allen's Ardboyne date

Foster and Allen come to the Ardboyne Hotel for their summer tour on Wednesday 26th September to perform all their hits and provide a night of nostalgia. Having started out in the music industry in the seventies playing in country music bands around Ireland, Mick and Tony soon progressed on to bigger and better things. After releasing the single 'A Bunch Of Thyme' in Ireland, it entered the Irish charts and became their first top- selling number one single. The demand for their services at venues all over Ireland and the UK increased immensely. They released another single 'old flames', which also made its way into the UK charts and Foster And Allen were on their way to stardom. They did their first concert tour of the UK in 1983 and this tour was boosted even more by the release of another mega hit single 'Maggie'. This proved to be a very popular song and, along with 'A Bunch Of Thyme', have become the signature tunes for Foster and Allen, now a well known household name in Ireland and UK. In addition to the Irish and UK tours, Foster and Allen have toured the USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. They have appeared on numerous TV shows in Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales as well as Australia, USA and Canada and have had their own TV series on RTE. They have to date released 27 albums, all of which have gone into the charts and have achieved album and video sales in excess of 20 million worldwide. With a wealth of talent and experience Foster and Allen are still sounding as good today as they did all those years ago.
