RDS success for Butler

Meath's Alexander Butler stormed to more success at the RDS Dublin horse show yesterday with an impressive victory in one of the prize events of the day. In the last class of the evening, Butler, and the Irish Sport Horse Will Wimble, saw off a challenge from France's Jerome Hurel and Zafir to take the €5,000 first prize in the Anglesea Stakes, while Conor Swail again maintained form with a third place on the mare Martha Louise. Francis Connors and the Irish Sport Horse gelding Heracross took fourth, while Olympic Bronze medallist and Ratoath resident Cian O'Connor and the bay gelding O'Connell Street came home in sixth.
