Savage New York brick attack on young Skryne GAA star

Members of the Skryne GAA Club and the entire community of the area are anxiously awaiting the latest reports from New York about the condition of a young local player who suffered serious injuries during a savage attack on her in a New York street. Alisha Jordan (21) is in hospital awaiting surgery this Friday for serious injuries, which included broken teeth, a broken nose and crushing of her skull. Her mother, Ailish, and sister, Colleen, have flown out to New York to be with Alisha. Reports from the city have indicated that an unidentified assailant walked up without warning and smashed Alisha in the face with a brick. According to a report from CBS New York, Alisha said she was so afraid in the aftermath of the attack that she did not even want her face to be shown on television.
