Dear sir - I wish to draw attention to an inaccuracy in your report on the unveiling of the Tara Mines monument on the Kells Road roundabout in Navan on your edition of 26th May. You report that the unveiling was attended by the town manager, Tadhg McDonnell. However, a plaque on the wall at the roundabout clearly states that it was unveiled in the presence of the county manager, Mr Tom Dowling. This is obviously important as it is on quite a number of plaques around the town which were unveiled in Mr Dowling's presence. The man should be given due recognition for this. Yours, Mick Dunne, Blackcastle, Navan.
