The funeral took place in Kilcloon today of cyclist Seamus Kennedy, winner of the 1978 Ras Tailteann, who died this week. Mr Kennedy, a native of Boardsmill, passed away on Monday after a long illness. A full obituary will appear in next week's Meath Chronicle.
