Lisa kicks off Other Voices

Wednesday 7th March heralds the return to TV screens of seminal music series Other Voices, recorded in Dingle, Co Kerry, in December. Programme One will feature premier Kilcloon singer-songwriter Lisa Hannigan, the wily baroque charms of Wild Beasts, delectable folk hipsters Little Green Cars and in the IMRO Other Room, the bouyant melodies of We Cut Corners. All of this, plus a memorable Other Voices tune from the legendary Jarvis Cocker. The tenth series of the legendary show will air in six instalments on RTE2 each Wednesday at 11.10pm and is hosted by internationally acclaimed TV and film actor, and passionate music-fan, Aidan Gillen. The tenth instalment of the Other Voices musical adventure promises to be both exhilarating and challenging, with a raft of Irish and international musicians and a preview of some of Ireland's most exciting, emerging talent in the IMRO Other Room feature. Other Voices 10 will also look back at some of the stand-out St James' Church performances from the last decade. Other Voices is created by South Wind Blows in partnership with Intune Networks, Fáilte Ireland, IMRO and RTE.
